Googie Eggs is a micro poultry farm that has been running since 2016 and currently consists of approximately 100 free ranging chickens. We have a stocking density of 300 hens per hectare (this is 30 times better than the national standard). We are part of a sixth generation farming family that has been farming in Yandoit since 1856. We use a portable coop which means our hens are regularly moved o
nto fresh pasture and have unrestricted access to grass and dirt. Our hens are not subjected to de-beaking, and are fed a hormone-free diet. They are also not exposed to artificial lighting, which means they lay naturally with the sun & the seasons. Kept safe by alpaca & maremma guardians as well as a solar powered electric net, our girls truly live the carefree chicken dream.
