𝐀 𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐥𝐨𝐞 - 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐰𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮❤️

Before the doors of Homegrown opened,
Before the coffee started to flow,
There was a girl with a paintbrush in hand,
Helping bring our dream to show.

She’s been here since the very beginning,
Through the chaos, the laughs and the tears,
She’s threatened to quit a thousand times,
But somehow survived all these years! 😂

Our number one barista,
Her coffees are second to none,
An incredible baker (when she follows the recipe),
But experimenting is half the fun!

She’s a whiz in the kitchen,
With a brain that’s sharp as a knife,
Studying crime and international affairs,
While keeping us all on our toes in life.

Her smile lights up the café,
Our customers adore her sass,
And when it comes to matching Robbie’s humour,
She’s the only one in his class!

But ask her to clean a corner,
Or fill the drinks fridge up one day,
She’ll suddenly find a thousand things
That need doing the other way! 😂

She’s clever, she’s cheeky, she’s beautiful,
A rockstar through and through,
And Homegrown simply won’t be the same
Without the magic that is you.

Who’s going to bring my morning tea?
Who’s making sure I’ve had lunch?
Who’s going to make me laugh so hard
When we’re in the middle of the rush?

Today she hangs up her apron,
For a European adventure she’ll roam,
Trading coffee, cakes and customers
For the wonders far from home.

And while we’re so incredibly proud,
And excited for all she’ll see,
There’s a mum behind the counter
Who’s going to miss her terribly. ❤️

Because working with your daughter
Is a gift not everyone gets to know,
And I wouldn’t trade a single day,
Not even the thousand times she threatened to go!

So here’s to new adventures,
To memories, laughter and fun,
To seeing the world and chasing dreams,
And soaking up every bit of sun.

Go spread that sass across Europe,
Make friends and memories galore,
But remember there’s a mum back at Homegrown
Counting the days till you walk through that door.

We love you, our beautiful Chloe. ❤️

Our customers will miss you, Robbie will miss his sparring partner, and I will miss absolutely everything about working beside you.

Even your terrible cleaning.

Special delivery by Greg from Woolooga Farm Kitchen was good timing this morning, we were able to treat him to our fresh baked French Vanilla Flan, only thing missing was his beautiful CeeCee to share it with 🫶🏻
