🚨🐄 OFFICIAL COBDEN AB ANNOUNCEMENT: MONDAY MAYHEM DAY HAS SUFFERED A MAJOR SETBACK 🐄🚨

We feel it's only fair to issue a public apology to Heytesbury Stockfeeds Pty Ltd ....

After months of challenge warfare, being consistently outperformed, and repeatedly watching Heytesbury complete challenges before we'd even finished discussing them, we decided enough was enough. 😆

While travelling to Simpson for the ice bath challenge, we came up with a revolutionary idea...

🏉 Friday Fun Day & the newly appointed Monday Mayhem Day. 🏉

Heytesbury would set the challenge and complete it on Friday, then on Monday, Cobden AB would accept the challenge (attempts and failures welcome 🤣) and fire one straight back.

Simple, right?

Wrong. 😂

Step 1: Organise the team.
Problem: Most of the team were spread across the countryside chasing cows 🐄

Step 2: Get a footy.
Problem: Amanda was sick and the footy was apparently travelling with her 🚗

Step 3: Work out how to do the challenge.
Problem: This quickly became a committee meeting👥️

Before long we were debating:
🏉 Which bin to use.
🏉 Where to put the bin.
🏉 Whether the bin was regulation challenge size.
🏉 How many windows were potentially in danger.
🏉 How many attempts it would take.
🏉 And how to avoid becoming a roadside hazard while retrieving a wayward football 🙊

After extensive discussions, several highly professional meetings, and absolutely no useful outcomes, or available staff members, Monday Mayhem was officially postponed. 🤣

Heytesbury Stockfeeds, we promise we're not avoiding your challenge. We simply became victims of logistics, staff shortages, missing footballs, and an excessive amount of planning 😆

Stay tuned... one day Friday Fun Day and Monday Mayhem will actually make their debut.

Assuming we can find a footy, a suitable bin, and enough staff members in the one place at the same time. 😆🐄🏉

🥶🥶🥶🧊🧊🧊 WOW WEE! What a challenge for Friday Fun Day! 🧊🧊🧊🥶🥶🥶

Today, some of the crew from Cobden AB, disguised as an Artificial Insemination Tech, a witch, a pirate, an owl, Minnie Mouse and of course our main star Cooper, headed off on an adventure to Simpson to take part in the Ice Bath Challenge in support of the fight against Motor Neuron Disease (MND), kindly put on by Heytesbury Stockfeeds Pty Ltd.

Unfortunately, we couldn't make it yesterday. Management already had most of the crew out working in the pouring rain, so some of us had already had our turn getting cold and wet!

Surprisingly, the older crew outdid the younger crew, fully dunking themselves in the tank — even if one had to bum shuffle their way in 😆. Getting out was another story altogether! I'm still not sure what the heater was supposed to achieve 😂.

The shock of the cold must have gotten to the poor pirate. When he resurfaced, he somehow managed to break his sword! 🏴‍☠️😆

There were definitely plenty of laughs, plenty of shivering, and plenty of fun, but behind it all is a very important cause.

While this fundraiser is for MND, we'd also like to acknowledge the many people across our rural communities living with a broad range of neurological conditions. Some of the toughest people we know are quietly facing challenges every single day. They keep showing up, keep adapting, keep fighting, and refuse to let their condition define them. Their resilience is nothing short of inspiring. 💙
