The last lingering days of autumn mark the end of the 2025-26 season.
In spring last year we experienced some scattered frosts across the regions we are working in - the Canberra District, Hilltops, Gundagai and Tumbarumba - and this has meant yields for some vineyards were lower than in previous years. However, the quality of each parcel we've been working with is a bright spot: the whites retain that signature cool-climate freshness. The reds, coming through primary fermentation, exhibit a pleasing depth and structure already, perhaps in part thanks to a slightly smaller average berry size this season.
Intermittent late summer rain kept us on our toes, but we were fortunate to be able to execute the few earlier harvests at just the right time, before summer gave way to a warm, dry autumn and clear picking conditions across the Canberra District.
