Got Somme - Master Sommelier Wine Podcast For wine lovers who know nothing about what's in their glass by want to be taught by Master Sommelier

These might be the greatest w**e names we’ve ever had on the table 😂

The C Bomb. Mr Silky Pants. Bringing Sexy Back. Hate Mail Merlot.

But behind the playful labels, **e is producing seriously interesting small-batch w**es with fruit sourced from Blackwood Valley W**e

The verdict on the Merlot? “This w**e is beautiful.”

Apparently we now need to send Justin Timberlake a magnum.

Is one of Australia’s most overlooked w**e regions quietly producing some of its best-value w**es? 🍷

Located between Margaret River and the Great Southern, Blackwood Valley W**e might not have the same name recognition, but the quality in the glass deserves serious attention.

From energetic, modern reds to oak-driven Chardonnay with a distinctly French influence, this region gave Carlos plenty to think about.

What happens when a w**e is produced once and can never be made again?

It is the kind of bottle that demonstrates why genuine scarcity and manufactured scarcity are not always the same thing.

Three years of tasting one of Australia’s most celebrated Shiraz w**es. 🍷

We went back through our previous Lamella tastings to see how our reactions, the w**e and its incredible ageing potential have evolved.

One conclusion remains the same: this w**e could last forever.

Approximately 1,000 bottles made. One vintage only. Never to be produced again.

TTT stands for Thirty-three Ticino Terroirs, with Merlot selected from 33 different sites across Switzerland’s Ticino w**e region.

When we filmed this tasting, **ES had only 24 bottles remaining in their warehouse after securing the final stock available from the w**ery.

The verdict?

Succulent. Juicy. Plummy. And a genuinely impressive expression of Swiss Merlot. 🍷

Would you open something this rare or leave it safely in the cellar?

Does a tiny production automatically make a w**e exceptional?

Carlos has tasted plenty of rare, heavily allocated w**es that failed to live up to the hype.

TTT is a different story. It was an experimental Swiss Merlot produced only once, in 2021, with approximately 1,000 bottles made before the w**emaker passed away.

All remaining w**ery stock has now been sold, with **ES purchasing the final available bottles.

But once you remove the rarity and the story, does the w**e itself deliver?

Type SWISS W**E below and I'll send you this small allocation episode.

Around 1,000 bottles were made. There will never be another vintage. 🍷

TTT was an experimental Swiss Merlot produced only in 2021, during the late w**emaker’s final year.

Every bottle held by the w**ery has now been sold. When we recorded this episode, just 24 bottles remained in the warehouse.

So, naturally, opened one.

Made with Merlot selected from 33 different terroirs across Ticino, this is one of the rarest w**es we have tasted on Got Somme. But does an extraordinary story automatically mean an extraordinary w**e?

A huge thank you to **ES for trusting us with this incredibly special bottle.

Gary Vee explains the real-world use case for w**e NFTs in under a minute.

A digital token represents ownership of a real bottle or six-pack stored securely elsewhere.

Open a bottle? Burn the corresponding NFT.

Want to sell it? Transfer the digital ownership without repeatedly shipping valuable w**e around the world.

Whether you believe in NFTs or not, GaryVee Video Experience presents a fascinating argument for how blockchain could change fine w**e collecting, provenance and resale.

He called the grape, the vintage and almost the exact alcohol percentage completely blind. 🍷

Carlos picked up the asparagus, gooseberry, passionfruit, green apple and high acidity, then confidently landed on Sauvignon Blanc.

The twist? It wasn’t Marlborough.

A $125 bottle or an undiscovered w**e under $30? Gary Vee says the buyer has the power.

GaryVee Video Experience believes some of the most exciting w**e value is coming from regions the wider market still overlooks, including Australia and New Zealand.

Famous labels may get the attention, but the biggest opportunities often exist before everybody else catches on.

For w**e lovers searching for quality without paying for hype, this is the homework worth doing.

Which w**e region is still criminally underrated?
