The paddocks are filling up with the sweetest little Black Angus calves, and every day seems to bring another new arrival. There’s nothing quite like seeing them finding their feet, sticking close to Mum, and enjoying their very first days on the farm.

We’re incredibly lucky to share our home with these beautiful animals, and while our guests get to enjoy the peaceful countryside, they may also be lucky enough to spot some of our newest little residents out in the paddocks. 🌾

🌧️ **A Little Rain Never Stopped a Camping Trip!**🏕️

We’re certainly grateful for the beautiful rain here at Coolac Cabins & Camping — the paddocks are loving it and everything is looking fresh and green! 💚🌱🐄

And the good news is… rainy days don’t mean you have to give up on camping!

Many of our powered sites are large and spacious with their own concrete slab, giving you a nice dry area outside your caravan — so you don’t have to spend your whole stay stepping through the mud. 🙌

Did we mention your caravan & car can stay hooked up for a much easier overnight stay ?

There’s something pretty special about being tucked up in the caravan, listening to the rain fall, enjoying the peaceful country surroundings. ☕🌧️

So pack the gumboots just in case, bring the caravan and come enjoy a cosy country stay with us.

Rain, hail or shine… there’s always a reason to visit Coolac! 🏕️🐄💚

Our Games/TV Room is currently out of use while we complete some renovations to make it even better for your next stay. We appreciate your patience and can’t wait to share the finished space with you!

👑🐾 **Meet Mia — THE QUEEN OF THE PARK** 🐾👑

Every pack needs a boss… and around here, there’s absolutely no question who that is! 😂

Mia is the old girl, the Queen, and the undisputed boss of all the dogs 👑. She might not be the loudest or the craziest, but one look from Mia and the others know exactly where they stand. 😂🐶

But Mia is also a pretty special girl to me. ❤️

She was my very first Border Collie and the one who made me completely fall in love with the breed. And, well… we all know how that turned out — one Border Collie somehow became four! 😂

She’s been by my side through so much over the years and will always hold a very special place in my heart. 🥹❤️

So if you’re staying at Coolac Cabins & Camping and happen to spot Mia wandering around, just remember…

Her daily routine is pretty simple:
😴 Sleep.
🤍 Stretch.
😴 Roll over.
🤍 Find a new comfy spot.
😴 Go straight back to sleep.

We keep waiting for her to surprise us with something exciting, but she’s completely committed to the lazy lifestyle—and honestly, she’s absolutely perfected it! ❤️

There’s nothing quite like calving season on the farm. 🐮🤎

Our newest little arrivals are keeping us busy, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Watching these calves take their first wobbly steps and grow stronger each day is one of the most rewarding parts of life on a working farm.

If you’re staying with us at Coolac Cabins & Camping over the coming weeks, you might just be lucky enough to spot some of these little cuties from a safe distance. They’re a beautiful reminder of the Australian countryside and the new life that comes with the season.

🐾 Meet Buddy! 🐾

Every park needs an official welcome committee... and ours just happens to have four paws! 💙

Buddy is our only boy, and he takes his job very seriously. Whether you’re setting up camp, going for a stroll, or just relaxing outside your cabin, chances are Buddy will wander over to say hello.

He’s incredibly gentle, loves meeting new people (especially kids!), and never says no to a pat or a friendly chat. If you see a happy Border Collie making his rounds, don’t worry—that’s just Buddy checking that everyone is enjoying their stay! 🐶
