Feel Well Farm Creating a bee friendly flower farm on a Regenerative beef cattle property in the snowy mountains NSW

Every line I draw starts with what I’ve learned out here — in real soil, real seasons, real weather.
This garden has taught me patience, rhythm, resilience, and the quiet art of paying attention.

It’s where I test ideas, watch plants through the years, and notice the tiny details that make a garden feel a peace.

It’s the heart behind every space I design for others — gardens that feel lived‑in, seasonal, sensory, and deeply connected to place.

If you want a garden that grows with you, not just for you, you’re in the right place.💓

Drinking the very last of the flowers in the garden. These were the last blooms left inside the hot house. I quickly snapped them up yesterday before the snow set in today. 😅 Mother Nature just reminding us we live in the coldest part of Australia! ❄️

And the zucchini glut begins. I’ve already picked a few small ones but after a few hot days these have grown before my eyes. I’ve been hand pollinating them to be sure I get fruit. They are in the hot house and there are lots of bugs and bees in there. Some good, some opportunistic some native bees and some European. 🐝 I’ve found time this year to plant my veggie garden properly and the feeling of picking your own food never gets old! I highly recommend you try it. 💓

The Alliums. They remind me of soldiers all in a row. These Alliums are elephant garlic Allium ampeloprasum. I thought they were a w**d when we first moved here. Now I “edit” them to where I want them to grow and I love them. 😍

It’s been a tough spring here in the snowy mountains. Lots of wind, cold temperatures and excessive late frosts. Currently my 20m Ash trees still lay bare with not one single leaf on them. 😅 The flower farm is slow and I have lost countless seedlings somewhere in the hundreds. But the comfrey is looking great. So I make comfrey tea and water everything in it, I put layers of it on the compost too. All I can do is feed the soil and hope this wind stops and allows the rain to come. 🤞🌿
