We had such a lovely Mother's Day yesterday!

Our cafe and pottery were full of joy and it seemed like people enjoyed our two special pizza flavours; Pesto Bliss and Tropical Tuna 🍕

Anyone who bought lunch from our cafe had the chance to participate in our Mum mug competition - we draw a name and then the winner gets a Mum mug 🤩

Maria, our owner and founder, drew the winner this year and the lucky person is ☆ Roger ☆.
Congratulations! ✨️

We still have Mum mugs available in the shop (we also made some for Fathers Day if you're looking to buy one) and many other beautiful pieces!

If you missed coming out yesterday, don't hesitate to come out, have a pizza in the cafe and a browse in the shop 😉

But it warms our hearts when it becomes like a second home for our guests 🥰

We have many regulars who come back almost every year, and it's a pleasure and a privilege to see their families grow just as they get to witness our family and business grow over the years 🌱

🌺Pilliga Pottery and Blue Wren Bush Cafe is open over the ANZAC long weekend🌺

Come to Pilliga Pottery and enjoy a delicious meal from our Blue Wren Cafe, a clay workshop in our pottery or just come to immerse yourself in nature and bird song 🐦

The Pottery is open from 9am - 5pm with classes running throughout the day. Bookings appreciated - please call (02) 68 422239 to book in.

Blue Wren Bush Cafe is open from 8am - 4 pm for breakfast, lunch and morning/afternoon tea.
We are open again from 6pm - 8pm for dinner on Friday and Saturday.
Bookings necessary (preferably before 5pm).

Please note that a 10% public holiday surcharge applies to all purchases in our cafe Saturday and Monday.

Book into a Crazy Animal Workshop where you'll create your own cute clay animal of your choice 🐰😸

🕛 Time: 11.30am (2-3 hour workshop)

It is with a heavy heart, we are saying goodbye to our experienced potter for the past 5 years, Joel Murphy 🤗

He proved to be a strong asset to our team and a lovely addition to our community. We've seen him grow his skills during his time here and we are excited on his behalf to go on a new adventure! We will miss him!

As a result of Joel's departure from Pilliga Pottery, we are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and passionate Potter to join our team. This position can be full-time or part-time, with the possibility of on-site accommodation.

🕛Start time: As soon as possible

🧑The ideal candidate will:
- Be skilled in wheel throwing
- Glaze mixing following our recipes
- Be confident in teaching and providing pottery lessons (wheel and hand building)
- Have a strong work ethic and be physically fit
- Assist with the production and processing of our own clay

✅What we offer:
- Permanent position
- A friendly, vibrant community
- A beautiful and peaceful setting in the Pilliga Forest
- A creative space where you can learn more and explore your skills
- Farm life at its best, including bushwalks and a swimming pool

If you haven't tried our Sourdough bread yet, now is your chance! Kimi has made extra bread and we’re selling it at The Royal Hotel in Coonabarabran.
