Happy Bubbly Day!

Leconfield Coonawarra Sparkling Blanc de Blancs celebrates the elegance and purity of Chardonnay grown in the premium cool climate of South Australia’s Coonawarra region.

Cold harvesting from our estate vineyards ensured freshness, while a secondary malo-lactic fermentation has delivered a textured, creamy mouthfeel. The wine was matured on lees (sur lie) and the inclusion of a reserve wine, aged in oak, contributes to the overall depth and complexity.

Our 2021 Leconfield Coonawarra Noble Riesling is used as our dosage - administering a light touch (roughly 2% of the blend), delivers further complexity to the overall drier style fizz.

Celebrate International Chardonnay Day with Gold Medal winning Leconfield Coonawarra Chardonnay 2024.

"This was an outstanding vintage in Coonawarra, and it’s produced an excellent wine from these vines that were planted in the 1980s. Slightly toasty stone fruit notes appear on the nose and then a palate which is both rich and textured, but with controlled restraint thanks to that fine acidity and tight-grained oak influence. It has a lemon curd, brioche-like character with a little zestiness to tighten. One of the best of these I’ve tasted." Ray Jordan, WinePilot

Join us this weekend at Leconfield Coonawarra to celebrate the 34th Penola Coonawarra Arts Festival.

We are proud to present “Newfields” Art exhibition featuring mother and daughter duo Di & Ros Pollard (Ros was a previous Cellar Door Manager at Leconfield Wines).

The paintings of Ocean Tranquility and Drifting through sea and sky (media - oil on canvas) will be on display in our beautiful Cellar Door this weekend as part of the Arts Festival and will continue through until mid-June.
