Around 3/4 of the damage is repaired. I just need to try to find time to secure the remaining section. Unfortunately other tasks keep interfering. Needing to try get feed, the Toggie breaking the fence and hayrack, Dizzy crawling out in another spot and necessitating additional fortification as well as cutting back the overgrown mulberry branches she was trying to reach. At this rate I’d take a month of housework as a holiday

The high winds caused some significant damage to what I thought was the strongest shed with metal brackets on the beams and hex screws instead of roofing nails. Talk about kicking a person when they’re down (Ute radiator still not able to be replaced and bills I don’t have income for). I salvaged and reattached what I could and will see what I can find that might cover some more of the gap. Fingers crossed

Believe it of not, but each of the patterns on these blankets was created using a single close up image of a goat’s coat. The photo is cropped to the section I think has the most interest and then duplicated several times slotting together to create these amazing patterns. The black and white plaid is from my British Alpine Odelia and the rest are from my Nubians. Sometimes three different patterns per goat can emerge from different sections of their colorful coat.
