Farm hand- Full time
We are looking for a farm hand to oversee our farms:
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations of two beef cattle farms
Manage cattle health, feeding programs and general herd care
Monitor pasture conditions, rotations, and fencing
Coordinate and perform animal handling, vaccinations, and treatments
Maintain farm equipment, machinery, and facilities
Keep records related to livestock, feed, treatments, and supplies
Supervise and assist contractors as needed
Ensure farms operate safely, efficiently, and in line with best practices
Communicate regularly with ownership regarding farm performance and needs
Regular feeding of cattle
Prior qualifications:
Proven experience managing beef cattle operations
Strong understanding of cattle health, nutrition, and handling
Ability to manage multiple properties and prioritize daily tasks
Mechanical skills and comfort operating farm equipment preferred
Self-motivated, dependable, and hands-on
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Valid driver’s license required
Truck driving license preferred
