Lenny from across the Creek is practically a local now. Isn't he beautiful?!

During the drought the Creek which has always been our property boundary got so low that we had to go here our cattle back home from the neighbouring property. This Brahman, named after his owner, got comfortable and was too hard to split from the herd so he has stayed for a couple of years now.
I guess to equalise one of our Angus crossed the Creek and fell in love and moved out permanently also.

Since then we've had rain and the creek is too high to safely walk them across now anyway.

Lucky we've got good neighbours.

James Simmons' original cattle brand is still safely kept in the family, along with a couple other brands from over the years.
