Brian is in the field today for Week 7 of our Cornella Canola Walk Check-In! From sowing just a few weeks ago with Steve and Sarah, to Pat’s latest prediction that these green leaves will be waist-high before we know it.

We are counting down the weeks until July when the first flowers arrive, paving the way for a beautiful August season. Who’s planning a visit this year? 👇

It’s time for our weekly check-in at the Cornella Canola Walk! It’s been 5 weeks since the seeds were sown and our canola bebes have been getting the optimal conditions for growth. There’s been a good amount of moisture and heat in the ground here in central Victoria so it’s looking like it will be a bumper season! Who’s ready to experience this amazing attraction less than two hours drive from Melbourne? 🌼📸🙋

A sea of gold, a big Victorian sky, and the keys of an old upright piano. 🎶✨

One of our favorite things about is hearing the music drift across the paddocks. Whether you’re a concert pianist or you just know a few chords, this spot is here for you to create something beautiful.

From cinematic reels to the perfect photo, the piano is waiting for its next performer when we open this August.

Calling all musicians and creators: 🎼 If you sat down at this piano today, what song would you be playing?

The road to those golden views starts right here! 🚜💨

Steve Tuohey is busy sowing the seeds that will become your favorite photo backdrop this season.

We practice a strict wheat-canola rotation to keep the soil healthy and the blooms bright for all our visitors.

Who’s ready for the fields to turn yellow? 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️

🍂✨ Many of you know us for the sea of yellow during the Canola Walk (Aug-Sep) but the magic doesn’t stop when the canola season ends!

This throwback captures a perfect winter’s day—and that big change is on its way. Autumn is here and over the next few weeks, the vibrant green vine leaves will start changing colours before they finally fall for the winter.

There’s nothing quite like the quiet, crisp air of the vineyard in transition. If you’ve been dreaming of a peaceful country getaway, now is the time to plan your Autumn stay at our Vineyard Views accommodation. 🍷🍁🍂

Wake up to the changing colors and enjoy the best of the Heathcote region right from your doorstep.

The full circle of gold. 🚜✨

It’s easy to get lost in the beauty of the bloom, but this is where the real work happens. From a sea of yellow to the dust of the harvest—this is the heartbeat of Cornella.

Watching the harvesters take on the windrows from above never gets old. It’s powerful, it’s gritty, and it’s the final chapter of a journey that began months ago in the dirt.

We’re almost back at the start of the cycle and soon we’ll be prepping the soil for the August 2026 canola crop. The countdown to the next transformation has officially begun.

While the paddocks are currently quiet and the ground is being prepared, we’re already dreaming of the day this view returns. There’s nothing quite like that first glimpse of the Cornella horizon turning into a sea of yellow.

Calling all Instagrammers and content creators! 📸

We know many of you are already planning your 2026 aesthetics and scouted locations. Whether you’re looking for that perfect wide-angle drone shot or a cinematic walk through the blooms, we’re making sure the 2026 season (kicking off this August) is our most photogenic yet.
