Our menu for the Nillumbik Hills Open Cellars Sunday 18th October, featuring the gorgeous range of Wedgetail Estate w**es — plus live music from duo Speckle & Cheque 🎶, and local makers mini market 🌻

We’ll be set up at Wedgetail Estate in Cottles Bridge serving hungry visitors for the afternoon, OR you can pre‑order a platter + w**e deal (swipe ➡️ for details).

Ramblers Flat Bread
Wagyu beef or lamb shoulder, smoked then braised in Wedgetail Estate 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon.
Shredded iceberg, Rosé pickles, Ramblers BBQ mayo.

Vegetarian Flat Bread
Smoked portabello mushroom glazed in Wedgetail Estate Pinot reduction.

A year ago we opened the cellar door, crossed our fingers and hoped someone would turn up. You did.

Open Cellars is our way of celebrating year one with the people who made it happen. Four new estate-grown w**es, yummy food, live music and local makers across both days

SATURDAY: Langan’s Catering and Woodfire Pizza fires up the wood oven for fresh pizza🍕 with Stephen McCulloch on the soundtrack 🎵

SUNDAY: ramblers.food.co cooks American BBQ low and slow🔥 finishing the meats with glazes and vinegars made from our very own w**es. Folk duo Speckle&Cheque play live 🎵

MINI MAKERS MARKET: all weekend, we’re turning a little corner of Wedgetail Estate into a mini market, with handmade goodies, beautiful blooms, jewellery, art and plenty of things you’ll probably convince yourself you need. 😉

One of the things we love about Open Cellars is that it’s not just about what’s in the glass. It’s also a chance to shine a light on some of the clever, creative people in our local community.

So, all weekend, we’re turning a little corner of Wedgetail Estate into a mini makers market, with handmade goodies, beautiful blooms, jewellery, art and plenty of things you’ll probably convince yourself you need. 😉

On Saturday, Langans fires up the wood oven for fresh pizza, with Stephen McCullough on the soundtrack 🍕🎵
