Have you ever tried growing garlic in your garden in WA and it failed ?

It’s most likely due to this …

The variety you planted doesn’t suit your local climate

Different varieties of garlic have been cultivated overtime to suit different climates across Australia

Growing garlic isn’t as simple as grabbing some from the supermarket shelf and “giving it a go”

Even if it was Aussie grown it could have come from vastly different conditions in New South Wales, Victoria or Tasmania (a large majority of garlic you find on our shelves is sourced from these regions)

To avoid another failed garlic crop it’s safest to source your seed garlic from a local WA grower or supplier

(Someone who can honestly tell you its origin & variety)

Garlic grown on our family farm in Gingin is Italian pink soft neck, from the subtropical family

They are well suited to Perths climate and it’s commonly grown across central WA and Queensland

Have you ever found peeled garlic that was actually grown in WA?

I am yet to come across it.

100% of peeled products I have found are grown overseas. Processed and packed in Australia and called "Products of Australia"

I don't blame WA businesses & homes for using it. Peeling garlic can be time consuming job (especially in large volumes) and I am yet to find a WA grown option.

But garlic grown overseas doesn't have local fresh taste and can impact your health.

Imagine ordering a bag of WA grown peeled garlic from our farm and receiving it freshly peeled & packed that same week.
