When you forget you’re being filmed… 😂

Trav was at IGA Lang Lang today doing a little tasting of two of our c***rs that are currently in stock.

No script, no rehearsing, just Trav talking c***r exactly as he normally would. 🍎🍻

If you’re in Lang Lang and want to give them a try, you know where to find us! - but You will have to search the c***r fridges, it’s in amongst it. 😜

Tropic Sweet, first to blossom in our orchard. 🌸🍎

Our little tree is putting on its first blossoms, but it’s still too young to carry a crop.

For now, we want all that energy going into growing strong rather than supporting and developing apples. So the fruit will have to wait for another season.

But we’ll leave the blossoms for now and let the pollinators enjoy them. 🐝🌸

A little blossom today, hopefully plenty of apples in the years ahead.

Spring arrives tomorrow, and Tropic Sweet got the memo winning the prize this year of first to blossom. (Nearly).

Right on cue, our Tropic Sweet apple tree has started to blossom, bringing the first little signs of the new season to the orchard.

After months of bare branches, it’s pretty exciting to see the orchard waking up again. Here’s hoping the bees are ready for the busy season ahead. 🐝🌱

Grafting is the process of joining a scion to a rootstock, combining the best qualities of both to encourage strong growth and improve disease resistance. 🌱🍎

Here, the grafting tool cuts a matching shape into the top of the rootstock and the bottom of the scion. When the two pieces are lined up, they fit neatly together, then it’s simply a matter of securing the graft with tape and letting nature take over.

A little precision now for our apples in the future. 🍏✨

First year our Feijoas being in the ground, getting their roots established. They still managed to fight off the birds and give us a sample of what lies ahead….

But still just like that Feijoa season is finished…. At our place anyway.

Tasting this years Skinny Shiraz is a hard job?
