Our June long weekend has started perfectly. All accommodation guests are settled in and happy...some even brought us fresh bread, the ponies have enjoyed their hoof trimmer visit... Bear was a terrific helper, the fire is lit and warming up the check-in office, firewood is bagged up and ready for purchase, the sun is shining...life is good.

As we bid this amazing rain filled day goodbye, we sit on our verandah, listen to the roar of the Wirreanda Creek, and watch the colours on the clouds.

The video shows the Wirreanda Creek in full flight, draining lots and lots of water out of the hills that lie to the east. It was an absolutely wonderful sight.

90 mms today.

I'm hoping everyone who needs the rain is receiving the rain. We've measured 60mms since 6 pm last night. Gutters aren't coping with the load, but that is understandable.


We are very happy to be home this Sunday, watching and enjoying the rain... blessed.
