End of the day 2 Autumn shearing 2026. No fancy shearing shed but gorgeous weather so no complaints this year.
Our close up of the day is of Ma. She is one of our Nanna ewes who live with the young weaned ones and teach them that people are no problem and even good for scratches and lupins. Also where the water and shelter are and what to be cautious of etc. She is retired from having babies and was always a great mum so is still serving a really valuable role.
They all seem so unburdened after shearing and the real beauty of their individual unique fleece colours and patterns is on full show.
Over half way through now, just the big mob to go.

Attending the Perth Upmarket was a wonderful experience, letting people feel and appreciate the quality of our coloured wool products. Our Australian-produced wool blankets stand out for being light, soft and fluffy, unlike the heavy wool blankets from the past. We had some great chats and lovely compliments. Thank you to all those who stopped in to say hello and follow our journey

Beautiful naturally coloured fibre from coloured Merino and coloured alpaca being blended and combed at Cashmere Connections Pty Ltd in Victoria for exciting new products to come. We are expecting a beautiful rose grey as it becomes more blended. No dye needed.
