It has been a little while between market days for us… and a lot has been happening behind the scenes at 81 Acres. This season has been about resetting. Learning and rebuilding.
Since the start of the year, I have taken on 81 Acres as a sole trader, running the farm on my own. It has meant wearing all the hats (and boots) while working through a tough six months managing predators and protecting our pigs and future litters. All while staying true to what we stand for: ethically raising pigs in a true free range environment in open paddocks.
It has not been easy, and I've had help from amazing friends, family, neighbours and community. Thank you all 🙏
And through it all, I have had the best little helper by my side 💛 CJ has been keeping a very close eye on our newest piglets… making sure they are growing strong, happy and safe.
Back at Adelaide Showground Farmers Market this Sunday, 26 April – limited stock, but we are super excited to be back.
