Queensland’s largest outdoor sculpture exhibition is back on Currumbin Beach from 11–20 September. You’ll find Balter being served at SWELL, while Nick Warfield’s official SWELL sculptures, ‘Balter Birds’, have flown into the Balter Tappy 🦜

So come down, check out some seriously impressive sculptures, and enjoy a cold beer with the best food trucks at your fingertips 🍻

For the appetite, we've got a Latin Catering AU open-fire grilling an Argentinian Asado BBQ 🍖 Plus, there's a good chance you won't go home empty handed as we'll have plenty of raffle prizes and a surprise (or two) up for grabs. Throw in some live music and sports on the big screen and you'll be laughing.

A bit different from our usual Friday night meat tray raffles… AirTouch Above the Rim 2026 will be holding their Streetball Take Over in the Balter Tappy!

Dime Street Basketball makes street basketball a live entertainment event, bringing together the best pickup players in the country to compete and put on a show. How is this possible in the tappy..? Our beer garden is getting converted into a half court with courtside grandstand as if you’re in a basketball arena. The Currumbin Madison Square Beer Garden.

NBA star Josh Giddey from the Chicago Bulls will be doing a takeover and Q&A. There’ll be a live DJ, Hip Hop dancers, haircuts, made-to-order merch and lots more.
