Cam Mckenzie’s breads are all authentic sourdoughs made completely by hand and baked in a wood-fired oven. All of Cam's Breads are made using organic, chemical free and Tasmanian-milled flours, including flour grown and freshly stone milled by Thorpe Farm in Bothwell. Cam’s Breads are made purely from flour, salt, water and of course, lots of care and attention. They are raised using a naturally f
ermented levain or sourdough starter, and contain no additives, preservatives or ‘improvers’. Cam also makes a range of sweet and savery buttery, crisp croissants, moreish Danish pastries and wickedly good brownies. His pastries are made fresh each day, using real Tasmanian butter and topped with locally grown fruits, with all pastry creams and custard fillings made from scratch. Cam has added Italian style Gelato and Sorbets to his repertoire, all flavours made using locally grown, and seasonal, fruit and fresh dairy from Cygnet’s 2 Cow Milk .They are made with passion, and don’t contain any artificial colours or preservatives.
