Agforce are holding meeting across Qld discussing the Federal amendments to our vegetation laws, rushed through the last sitting of parliament at the end of 2025. I attended the meeting in Durong yesterday. The meeting dates are below. Sorry about the amount of text.
'EPBC Roadshow Coming to a Region Near You
AgForce will not accept regulation that unnecessarily restricts productive land management or creates perverse environmental outcomes, and we will continue pushing for change while helping producers navigate the laws as they currently stand. For the past year, AgForce has been pushing back hard against new, unworkable environmental regulations. AgForce is pushing for EPBC reforms that work for Queensland producers, while helping members navigate the laws as they stand.
Join the AgForce Queensland Policy Team at an upcoming EPBC Roadshow to hear what proposed reforms may mean for farming and grazing businesses.
Sessions will cover AgForce’s advocacy priorities, key regulatory changes, compliance risks, and practical issues producers can raise directly with government representatives.
Led by Josefine Pettersson, Anna Lethbridge and Luke Moore, the roadshow will also cover the 15-year rule, continuing use exemptions, National Environment Standards and the difference between Commonwealth and Queensland regulation.
NEPA’s EPBC Regulatory Support Branch will be delivering a presentation and a practical workshop.
At most locations, AgCarE CEO Mark Pawsey will introduce NatureLedger, a tool to support informed land management decisions.
Members attend free. Non-members can attend for $25 or join as AgForce members to attend free of charge.
