Amarina is a 420 acre boutique thoroughbred farm located in the heart of the Hunter Valley.

Established in 2006, Amarina specialises in agistment, breeding services, foaling down, weaning, and sale preparation. Welcome to the Amarina Farm page where you can keep up to date with all that is happening on the farm. Amarina is owned by Craig and Sue Anderson, in partnership with Gavin Murphy and Cath Donovan. The property is located on 420 acres of quality pasture solely dedicated t

o horses. Our facilities include two yearling barns, two horse walkers, a sand roll, hospital and 9-day area, foaling area with floodlights, crush, and safe, quality fencing throughout. Our success through the sale ring continues to grow, with our graduates including Zoutori, Starelle, Super Cool, Gallica, Wowee, Catkins, Brilliant Bisc, and Aeronautical. We pride ourselves on great customer service, keeping our clients informed frequently with photos and reports on their horses.

How exciting to see our Magic Millions yearling sale graduate AUTUMN BOY awarded the Champion 3YO Colt/Gelding at the Australian Horse of the Year awards.

A winner of the G1 Caulfield Guineas and G1 Rosehill Guineas at 3, the son of Arrowfield Stud's The Autumn Sun resumes this Saturday's in the G1 Memsie Stakes (1400m) at Melbourne Racing Club for the Chris Waller Racing stable with in the saddle.

Amarina Farm's dual G1-winning Magic Millions yearling sale graduate Autumn Boy (The Autumn Sun) is on track for a spring return, with trainer Chris Waller Racing believing the four-year-old can achieve what his sire never had the chance to.

Unlike The Autumn Sun (Redoute's Choice), who retired to stud after his three-year-old season, Autumn Boy will continue racing and is being aimed towards the Winx Stakes (Gr 1, 1400m) at Randwick next month.

"We've got that opportunity with Autumn Boy. He's racing on at four and I'm excited about that," Waller said.

The c**t has not raced since finishing runner-up in the Doncaster Mile (Gr 1, 1600m) to Sheza Alibi (Saxon Warrior).

The $80,000 Grafton Guineas (1600m) is one of the highlight races at the annual Grafton Cup carnival and was won in commanding style by Russian Revolution gelding Rustemo in the Australian Bloodstock colours.

Trained by Kris Lees Racing, Rustemo racked up three successive wins through May and June before finishing third in the G3 Winx Guineas at the Sunshine Coast.
