🔥 What an incredible weekend at the ! 🔥

The second edition completely surpassed the first for us, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

To give you an idea of the scale of this amazing event, we served:

🥩 100+ kg of rump cap
🍖 70 kg of beef ribs
🌭 85 kg of chorizo
🥔 70 kg of potatoes
🍅 40 kg of tomatoes

And the best part… WE SOLD OUT! 🙌🔥

This achievement would not have been possible without an incredible team working tirelessly behind the scenes. A huge thank you to every member of the Gauchos BBQ family who helped make this weekend such a success. Your dedication, passion, and hard work mean everything.

We would also like to thank our amazing suppliers for their continued support and for helping us deliver the highest quality food at events like this.

Most importantly, thank you to all of our customers. You are the reason we do what we do. Every plate we serve is more than just barbecue—it’s a piece of our culture, our traditions, and our passion. Being able to share the authentic taste of South American barbecue here in the Top End of Australia is an honour, and your support allows us to keep that tradition alive.

Ancient fire. Pure flavour. Respect for tradition.

Inspired by the Aboriginal cooking method, fish is wrapped in natural paperbark and slowly cooked over wood fire coals. This technique has been used for thousands of years across Australia, allowing the fish to gently steam in its own juices while absorbing the delicate aroma from the bark and the smoke.

The paperbark protects the fish from direct heat, keeping it incredibly moist, tender and full of natural flavour — no rush, no shortcuts, just fire, time and respect for the ingredients.

We prepared this special cook to celebrate Good Friday, honouring tradition, simplicity and the connection between food, culture and meaning.

At Gauchos BBQ, we celebrate fire cooking traditions from around the world. Different cultures, same passion: smoke, patience and flavour.

Because great BBQ is not just cooking… it’s history, culture and connection.

What a privilege to be back in South America — especially São Paulo, Brazil 🇧🇷

Being immersed in an intense course with was next level. Three days learning about cattle, finance, marketing, communication, business planning, butchering, gastronomy, storytelling, oratory, and so much more.

I felt truly honoured to present the shirt, share my business, my plans, and my vision — and to live three unforgettable days that I’ll carry with me forever.

What an experience. This is just the beginning. 🔥

What a day! What an event was!
All of us at Gauchos BBQ are so proud of our roots and culture, and living abroad often makes us miss it even more. This weekend, we truly felt as if we were back home in Rio Grande do Sul 🇧🇷🔥

More than just a BBQ event, it was a cultural celebration. We had the chance to watch the incredible (stand-up comedy) and the unforgettable perform live. We even had the honour of giving them a special gift and having a heartfelt conversation with both of them 🙏

Some say it’s risky to meet your idols because reality can disappoint. But this time, it was the complete opposite. I admired their work before — now I admire them as people. Humble, charismatic, and genuinely attentive to every single person: taking photos, recording videos, signing autographs with endless patience and kindness. Their presence reminded us how deeply they’ve shaped our culture and our generation, even from the other side of the world 🌍❤️

One truly emotional moment was when Paulinho Mixaria recorded a special video for my father back in Brazil, then recited beautiful verses — something rare for a comedian — making everyone present feel incredibly moved and connected

Cesar Oliveira & Rogerio Melo received Gauchos BBQ shirts from our hands as we shared how proud we are to represent more than just food — but an entire cultural experience, far from our beloved homeland. After their performance, I even had an amazing chat about politics with .oficial , and those who stayed until the end were gifted with a breathtaking version of “Céu, Sol, Sul” — a moment that touched me deeply and closed the night in perfect style

A massive thank you to Marcelao from for making this incredible event happen and for allowing us to connect with the artists before and after the show. We still can’t believe everything that happened — this day will stay in our hearts forever ❤️🔥🇧🇷

It was a true privilege to not only serve our food, but also to share a part of our culture with other small businesses and the wider community here in Darwin. Events like this remind us of the importance of connection, collaboration, and celebrating the diversity that makes our city so unique. 🌎
