Are you interested in your own BACKYARD BEE HIVE

Dayboro Pure Honey (DPH) has some established hives for sale as part of its business model to expand honey bee populations in Dayboro and surrounds.

The hives consist of a 10 frame Brood box, queen excluder, a 2nd Honey box, lid and base. This is all new equipment with an established colony of bees.

DPH will work with the customer pre-establishment of hive on desired location and important information about bee management including equipment required to look after the hive. The hive will then be set up and a follow up review within 1month to check on the hives progress.

There is some amazing articles and YouTube information on bee keeping and being an Apiarist in Australia - the below article by ABC is a useful example.

Bees are fantastic for our environment and the immediate positive things they do to your garden and surrounds is amazing. If you are interested in a back yard hive please contact me through messenger to discuss or call me on 0418 253357.

Important: are you allergic to bee stings - if you manage a bee hive, you will be stung at some point. Your reaction to this needs to be understood as some people can have severe side affects.

Last Saturday I was so happy to set up a new hive for a young customer and her dad.

Charlotte has been saving her own money to buy a hive and has been learning all things bees for some time now including an avid reader of the Australian Bee magazine. Dad (Jamie) is a positive support in many ways for his daughters passion including getting a bee suit himself.

The smile said it all for me when we opened the door of her new hive - Congratulations Charlotte 🐝🐝🐝🐝
