The 6th annual Yolla Co-Op Tasmanian Boer Goat Championships were held at the Longford Showground on Sunday.

After a late change, BGBAA Level 2 Judge Geoff Mitchell presided over more than 30 fullblood animals exhibited by two vendors.

Following the Championships, Mr Mitchell, Vicki Mitchell, and Dr Bruce Jackson delivered a commercially-focused breeders' workshop to primary producers from across the state.

Following the workshop, attendees enjoyed a chevon (goat meat) barbecue dinner and networking drinks.

The 2026 Supreme Exhibit (best in show) was awarded to Sherwood Stacy's Mom (CLMFQ0192), bred and exhibited by Callan Morse of Sherwood Boer Goats.
