Fantastic day in Sydney yesterday seeing our champion steer steaks in the dry ager. We love being able to follow our steers from “paddock to plate”. This steer looks fantastic and we cannot wait to try him! A huge thanks to Craig Cook the Natural Butcher for again purchasing our champion steer for the 2nd year in a row.

Carcase results are in, 🐨 KOALA- HEAVY WEIGHT CHAMPION CARCASE, SUPREME STEER EXHIBIT!!

Just pipped at the post for Grand champion carcase by 0.09 points!!!!

Also happy to report our other bred steer exhibited by Calrossy “Trouble” was part of the Limousin Stan Hill winning team!

Our ❤️ Valentine, our only Limousin stud exhibit at Sydney this year. She won 🥇 the 16-18 month old heifer class in a tough class of 12. An absolute crowd favourite, so humbled by the amazing feedback on this heifer. We are obsessed with her and cannot wait to see her become a mumma later in the year.
A huge thanks to Truro Hereford and Poll Hereford Stud and Damon Murphy for looking after our girl like your own🥰

2026 Sydney Royal over for another year and what a time it was. Absolutely over the moon with our steer results for the second year in a row we won GRAND CHAMPION steer with a TCW bred steer both sired by champion steer breeder Kenton.

“Koala” was purchased from us by PRB Livestock, Paul and Regan Banks did the most amazing job getting Koala ready for Sydney. We are so thankful for their belief in our cattle. Fun fact Regan also led Cyclone last year to Grand Champion Steer. Leading the grand champion steer back to back is pretty impressive!!

We also won reserve heavyweight champion with “Trouble” once again prepared and exhibited to perfection by Calrossy Anglican School and Kathy De Jong and led by Stirling Wheatley. This steer was selected as part of the Stan Hill team for Limos. We are so grateful to be a part of this school and continue our winning partnership.

What a day at The Glen Innes Potential Show Steer Sale with a new Australian record price for a show steer, the star of our draft “Wide Load” sired by Benjarra Slap Bang Boom topped the sale selling for a record $10,000.

Our heifer “Winnie” also sired by Slap Bang Boom topped the heifers selling for $4000.

Humbled to say our 6 calves averaged over $5000.

Thankyou so much to the purchasers and underbidders it truely means the world to us for the support and for other people to love our calves as much as we do. We cannot wait to see these calves later in the year!

Huge thankyou again to the team at Colin Say & Co for another hugely successful sale.

Northern Limousin Breeders Sale over for another year. Huge thanks to all the buyers and underbidders. Our boy UPLIFT sold for $18,000 to a great new home in sunny QLD. Our heifer VALLEYGIRL sold to a wonderful home for $4500 where she is going to be very loved. A big Thankyou to the committee for another well run sale.
