Sorry for the radio silence lately!

We've been busy behind the scenes. The pigs are growing beautifully and are not too far off being ready for the butcher, which is exciting to see after all the hard work.

A lot of our time has also been spent searching for the right property to take the next step in our farming journey. We've had a few properties look promising right up until they were locked in by someone else. While it's exciting to get close, it can also feel a little disheartening when things don't quite fall into place.

We're staying positive, keeping the faith, and continuing the search for the right opportunity. Thanks for following along and know we are still here growing heritage Tamworth pigs.

Expression of Interest – Seeking Farm Opportunity 🐖🐓

We are currently near Deniliquin, exploring a potential move to the Wangaratta / Albury–Wodonga region to be closer to our family and farmers markets.

At this stage, we are submitting an Expression of Interest only to understand what opportunities may be available.

We are interested in:
• Rural/farm properties (flexible size and setup)
• Suitable for small-scale livestock (pigs, poultry, mixed farming)
• Purchase preferred vs lease.
• Properties within reach of Wangaratta / Albury–Wodonga

We are open-minded and happy to discuss a range of arrangements, including off-market opportunities.

Apologies for the lack of content lately.
I realised mid week a number of our posts haven't worked. So a quick run down....

Pork sales will be approximately a month or so for growth. Possibly limited stock pending final decisions with breeding plans.
Being Big Mumma babe's and an old Tasmanian breeding line we would love to start saving her girls.
In other news Peppa had piglets a couple weeks back with results being
5 boys
And 1 girl.

Just seen another pasture raised pig farmer call closure.
They also stated they felt like they failed.
Never forget what you battle farmers.
