A huge thanks to everyone who joined us for Colombo Night in Canberra!💥
The energy, the performances, the food, and most importantly, the amazing community spirit made this event truly unforgeable.

From a powerful musical performance by Chakra Band, DJ sets by DJ Nu & DJ Specializts along with Quake Bellydancers’ performance complemented with the delicious Sri Lankan Street food by Yallu Catering, every moment was a treatment to the rich heritage and unity of our community.

A special shoutout to all the volunteers, performers, and sponsors who made this night possible. Your hard work and dedicated greatly appreciated!

We are almost there! Here is the program for the day and other important information about the event- Colombo Night.

Program for the Day
4:00 PM - Gates Open

Outdoor Session:
• 4:30 – 6:30 PM: Sundown Music Session by Chakra Band
Indoor Session:
• 7:00 – 7:15 PM: Belly Dance Performance by Quake Bellydance
• 8:00 – 11:30 PM: DJ Sets by DJ Nu & DJ Specilizts
Yallu will operate a bar and food stall to keep your thirst and hunger at bay.
• Food Stall Closes: 9:30 PM
• Last Drink Serves: 11:00 PM
Prizes to be Won:
• Best Dancer
• Best Dancing Couple
We encourage you to dress in your best Sri Lankan attire and dance the night away! 😊
Although we have slightly warm spring weather in Canberra, you may need to bring a piece of warm clothing to stay comfortable - Yarralumla Woolshed is a protected historic building and is not fitted with heaters for safety reasons.
