Things to do on our Farmstay:

Do as much or as little as you like! Collect eggs from the chooks, hand feed some grain, top up waters and feed
2. Feed the Ducks and top up their waters
3. Check on our Guinea Fowl, top up their feed and water
4. Give a carrot to the horses and top up their waters
5. Give a carrot to our Pony and top up her water
6. Hand feed some grain to the sheep, top up their w

ater and let them out to their day paddock
7. Feed the Pigs, check their waters
8. Hand feed the goats, check their water
9. Give a biscuit of hay to our House Cow, check and top up waters
10. Visit our Beef Cattle (in our 4WD Buggy) and toss them some hay

Afternoon Activities (Guided - arranged upon your arrival):

1. Groom our Pony (only available for kids 5 years and older)
2. Afternoon 4WD Buggy Ride - great views of our farm, Derrymore and the Lockyer Valley)

Self Organised Animal Feeding during the Day:

1. Give a carrot to the Horses and Ponies (carrots supplied in the cottage)
2. Hand Feed any of our animals - let us which you would like to feed and we will give you some food

Other Self Organised Activities:

Outside:
1. Yard Games - Giant Jenga, Co****le, Quoits
2. Football, Soccer Ball (with goals) and Netball (with ring), Kites, Totem Tennis
3. Billy Kart to push around
4. Other assorted toys and games
5. Paints & Paper (there is a fold out portable table too)
6. Scavenger Hunt – we have created a list of 40 things to find, photograph or solve. Find the bucket in the shed, throw out the clues and get the kids hunting.
7. Pack a picnic and go on a hike along our track (a few kilometres long), or up the hill to the watch the sunset. In the Cottage:
7. Monopoly, Scrabble and Pictionary
8. Kids dvds in the cottage for night time
9. Read a book in a comfy chair the yard (there’s a heap of auto biographies and interesting books in the cottage, and deck chairs in the Garden Shed)
10. Cooking Ideas:
10. Have a meal around the firepit of BBQ
11. Have Damper and Billy Tea for Breakfast. All the ingredients you need to make damper (plus a recipe) can be found in the cottage cupboard. Make it in the oven, or over the fire pit. There is a camp oven in the Garden Shed – just wash it when you are finished and leave it in the kitchen.
12. Make Golden Syrup Dumplings for Dessert. All the ingredients you need (plus our secret recipe) can be found in the cottage cupboard. Make them in the oven, or over the firepit (use the camp oven). We supply cream – but bring along a small tub of icecream if you prefer. At Night:
13. Cook marshmallows in the firepit at night (firestarters, lighter, kindling & logs are in the garden shed, and roasting sticks are in the kitchen drawers)
14. Spy the night sky with our Dobsonian Telescope. The telescope is on the verandah of the cottage. Please move it super carefully, and put it back under cover at night if you take it into the yard. Our Location:
We are in the Lockyer Valley - about 75 minutes from Toowong in Brisbane, 25 minutes from Toowoomba and 12 minutes from Withcott. How to Book:

Reach out to us via messenger to check dates and availability. $100 deposit secures your booking, with balance payable 14 days prior to your arrival. Terms & Conditions:
1. Your deposit secures your dates and is only refundable for natural disasters or public health emergencies that prohibit or limit travel.
2. We are happy to change your dates up to 14 days before your booking.
3. All payments inside 14 days are non- refundable.
4. We do not charge cleaning fees - but do expect you to leave the cottage in a tidy state, wash dishes you have used, clean the bbq after use, and return items to where you found them.
5. Please let us know if you damage something, have a spill, or find something that needs attention. The sooner we know, the sooner we can fix it.

A lot of you would know Jack — retired from racing 10 years ago. We saved him from a bad outcome. Though eager to please, he has been quite challenging behaviour-wise. But we never stopped loving him or working with him, and we’ve had a lot of help along the way.
Today Skylar hopped on Jack and went for a ride. What a dream 😍
