Have you ever wondered?
Here is a little share about the business.

Gosh. I’m so proud. A humble, heart felt, grass roots kinda proud. The blood sweat and tears variety.

That’s what comes when you throw everything you know, everything you are and all that you ever imagined you could be and take a gigantic leap of faith into the unknown.

If you’re new here, WELCOME! My name is Sarah and I’m so happy to meet you.

Winter skin solutions. SAY LESS 👀
tallow soap and cream formulations are designed for Tasmanian conditions. All skin types. All skin concerns. And ESPECIALLY winter skin maintenance 👌

So what a PERFECT time for a restock of their brand new soap and cream formulations. The tallow & bees wax soap has had a power packed upgrade and now contains CASTOR OIL for extra therapeutic qualities. The cream formula has also had some minor tweaks, with Sam working his magic in this new formulation made with h**p seed and castor oil in the mix.

We’ve had so many repeat customers for these intentionally slow made local products - made in Yolla from Tasmania grass fed tallow and other locally sourced ingredients. We are so proud to be be stockists of this fabulous brand.

I was also so lucky to get a snuggle with these little babies - totally made my morning ❤️🐐

Winter = BREAD 🍞
For the gluten devouring folks among us, this equation is kind of a NO BRAINER 🤣 and walking into a house smelling of delicious home made bread is truly a delight.

Did you know… here at The whole foodie we stock bread mixes imported directly from South Australia. The range in store includes 5kg German Grajn and Crusty White, 10kg Wholemeal loaf and 12.5kg Dark Rye bread mix.

The mixes are designed to be simple to bake in a bread maker or by mixing by hand and oven bake - so really ANYONE can make this at home! The 5kg and 10kg packs even COME WITH YEAST 👌😲

*please note these are not just flour - they are a complete bread mix.

At a time where EVERY cent counts in the weekly budget - we think this is a pretty affordable way to cover simple ‘essentials’ - make loaves, pizza bases, rolls, focaccia!

**AND FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY - WE HAVE 25% OFF ALL VARIETIES - ENDS JUNE 30 2026**

Let’s be honest… it’s a RIDE 🥶
Winter is finally here. NGL, it’s a real LOVE/HATE relationship for me. However, this year I feel like I’m ready to tackle it head on. These are my NON NEGOTIABLES for the season:

EAT SLOW. Slow cooked food is easier to digest and maximises flavour and nutrition. Like cabbage for example - cruciferous vegetables - sauté with some ghee, garlic and white beans and then simmer them down in broth to create a slow and delicious offering. We are loving Biofarms cabbage, broccoli, carrot and onion. make the most delicious canned butter beans and I always make sure I have a few in the pantry for easy meal prep 🍲

EMBRACE BROTH. Weather it’s vego/vegan or animal based, broths are a GAME CHANGER during winter. Not only do they bring flavour, broth is a highly nutritious food that supports your gut microbiome and enhances immune function. Easily added to recipes or taken on its own. Make at home or buy pre made - there are SO MANY top quality broths available on the market, you don’t have to slave away to reap the benefits these days! We recommend and 👌

REGULAR SAUNA. Ok guys - ITS NOT A FAD!! With the rise in popularity of sauna over the past few years, one could easily write it off as being something that’s COOL and ON TREND. And, well yes, the insta worthy pics can definitely be found… BUT sauna is a practice that has literally been ON TREND since 7000 BCE Lol 😜 Electric heaters and infrared technology have adapted the ancient sweat-bathing rituals into modern day steam and infrared sauna and regular use offers profound, science-backed health advantages - improved cardiovascular health, stress reduction, accelerated muscle recovery, relief from chronic pain, and potentially increased longevity 👀 SIGN ME UP!
in Turners Beach offer the most delightful private sauna experience. There are also public saunas on the coast at .saunas that have some very impressive views and good conversation to boot!!

SKY GAZING. Since the dawn of time. Humans have always looked to the skies. For signs of change, marking new seasons, celestial events and even garnered predictions for the future!

Looking to the sky is a powerful, universal human behavior that provides profound psychological, physiological and cognitive benefits. By raising our gaze, we step away from our daily "tunnel vision" and experience feelings of vastness and awe, giving us an innate sense of connection to the broader universe. TOTALLY UNDERRATED IMO 😂

Gazing at the sky during SUNRISE or SUNSET has amazing health benefits: Resets Circadian Rhythm, Combats Morning Grogginess, Natural Red Light Therapy, Supports Vitamin D Synthesis, Triggers Mood Boosters, Reduces Cortisol Levels, Acts as Passive Meditation. AND ITS FREEEEE!!!! 🙌🔥👏

I fill my cup. I empty my cup. I repeat. 🤣👌
For most of my working life (23-42yo) I worked regular 8 or 10 hour shifts as a registered nurse. After my babies I dropped my hours BUT I worked more obscure shifts like half and full night duty and alllllways weekends 🤡

While the financial return was definitely worth the toil, I always yearned to MAKE SOMETHING that was ALL MINE. I have always been surrounded by strong creative women. My sister is a savy business owner, many of friends are creative folk. I craved this freedom.

Aaaaand with all that FREEDOM comes a complete breakdown of personal and professional boundaries… I don’t ’clock off’ anymore… emails and DM’s find me AROUND THE CLOCK 7 days a week.

2026 marks the start of our 5th year of trading as THE WHOLE FOODIE! Yikes! The past 4 years have seen me undergo EXPONENTIAL personal growth!! I have learned a whole new trade!! Running a small business is not for the faint of heart. I have also learned about ‘better’ boundaries… a work in progress perhaps!? lol.

What are you willing to lay down in order to make the world a better place?
No matter what your personal belief system, I’m sure we can all agree that ‘what the world needs now is LOVE, sweet LOVE’.

For those who follow Jesus, Easter signifies the greatest love that ever was. The ultimate sacrifice.

As modern day humans living in 2026, we can commit to more humble sacrifices - humble but powerful! Let’s take a moment to pause in the stillness of this day, Good Friday, and perhaps ask for our hearts to be touched by a higher power, for wisdom and compassion to be present in our lives for the year to come.

I’d love to know what lands for you - bring your testimony to my door 😊🩷 let’s build a better world together xx

Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.
