Earlier this May, we had our beautiful high tea fundraiser. A great day that continues to leave us buzzing🐝 with gratitude and good feeling for our community and the change we’re making together. 🎉🥰

The High Tea for a Cause has a special place in the Imagine REEvolution calendar. More than a date, it’s a feeling that we recognise for its lightness and warmth and ability to unite… the feeling in the room as we come together to celebrate the difference of empowerment.💪 For us, it's a gift that continues to give as we are supported to maintain and grow our programs to reach the people they need to reach. ✨

A “Little Putter” baby shower — the sweetest way to celebrate a baby on the way.

From the very beginning, it was clear how much love had gone into this day. Mum-to-be had thoughtfully organised so many personalised touches… from custom signage and themed details to carefully chosen styling that reflected her and her little family perfectly. Every element felt intentional, playful and full of heart. Soft greens, touches of white and subtle golf details tied everything together in the most gorgeous way.

And like many special celebrations, there were some unexpected stresses in the days leading up to the event. Plans shifting. Logistics to juggle. That underlying pressure that can creep in when you just want everything to feel perfect.

This is where I gently step in.

Supporting behind the scenes. Taking care of the kitchen and food logistics. Bringing organisation, reassurance and calm so those final days didn’t feel overwhelming. So mum-to-be could focus on what truly mattered — slowing down and soaking in this once-in-a-lifetime season.

By the time guests arrived, the space felt relaxed, abundant and full of joy — exactly how a baby shower should feel.

You plan the vision. I hold the calm (and the food) 🤍

There is something incredibly special about catering for a wake.

It’s never just about the food.
It’s about gently taking the pressure off a family in the middle of heartbreak. It’s about creating space for stories to be shared, hugs to be held a little longer, and memories to rise to the surface.

Often, we include a favourite slice, a beloved biscuit, or a dish that meant something to the person being remembered. Those small, personal touches become conversation starters — “Mum loved these” or “This was her favourite treat.”

In times of loss, food becomes comfort. It becomes connection. It becomes a way of honouring someone’s life.

Being trusted with that is something I hold very close to my heart 🤍

Friday the 13th… but make it deliciously moody 🖤

Last night’s grazing table was dark, dramatic and just a little bit spooky — rich tones, layered textures and a menu designed to feel indulgent while still beautifully curated. Proof that themed catering doesn’t have to be gimmicky… it can be elevated, abundant and completely unforgettable. Think charcoal brioche mini cheeseburgers and our famous bao — reimagined with a darker twist — where the real surprise was the flavour stealing the show.

I absolutely love when clients trust me to lean into a creative vision, from styling through to the final bite, creating a space where guests can gather, graze and connect. For this event, I was lucky enough to collaborate with , who styled the table and brought the client’s brief to life perfectly 🖤 Together, it became a moody, immersive graze that felt both striking and welcoming.

Because at the heart of it all, that’s what b. Food Design & Catering is about… bringing people together around food that feels thoughtful, a little unexpected, and made with love.
