A few months ago we handed over some of our 2024 shorn Babydoll wool, to a very talented friend and the update has finally come through — photos and all. 💕
It’s brilliant to actually see what the fibre can and can’t be used for, especially since I’m not a wool person myself.Melanie’s finished all the washing and skirting, scouring and drying, and she’s started carding. There’s a heap of wool, and the carded sections look great laid out flat. The fibre is very short, so it’s not really suited to spinning, but it works well for peg‑looming and quilting projects.Absolutely love seeing what our Babydoll wool becomes
