MeadowVale Guernseys Meadowvale Guernseys was founded in 1975 on MeadowBank genetics. In 2002 Michael and Julie relocated

Over the years Michael and Julie have purchased stock from Evermore, Meadowview, Kookaburra, Jason Park, Catalina, Glencrest and Marloo Studs. Meadowvale exhibits at the Sydney Royal and the Dorrigo All Breeds Calf show each year. In 2002 Michael and Julie relocated the stud from Gloucester to Dorrigo and have seen a significant increase in the number of Guernsey's that they are currently milking.

The rainfall in the past 10 days has been appreciated in the paddocks.
This is one of our paddocks where the seed was broad cast and munched in.
We have a kikuyu base and oversow with Rye clover and leafy turnips.
We used to plant turnips in Gloucester so 23 years ago.
We had a cow called Mary that got turnips stuck in her throat. I hope that doesn’t happen again. I must say I am not a specialist on leafy turnip
