Red Hill Show 2026 our local and our last Autumn show for 26.
Great roll up of competitors, perfect weather and a huge crowd.
New facilities worked exceptionally well especially wash block water pressure. So a big thank you to Tim and Richard.
Once again Susie Trout took catering to a new level. 🥰
Kate Chase's baking was amazing.
Thanks Andy, Alexie and James for the helping hand.
Hope all travelled home safe and well.
Look forward to doing it all again next year.

Great day out at Berwick Show 26.
Calving flat out with only 50 left to go and still a week away from their due date.
One more local to go for Autumn which will be Red Hill Show in 2 weeks' time.

26 is here and January has already left us.
Huge thanks to Ness, Rache and her many helpers for making Lang Lang such an enjoyable show. Thanks so much to the generous sponsors as well.
Embryos from Caity's Alexander property have all arrived safely after their rather rushed relocation.
Heifers and Spring calvers relocated safely to Lima Park at Swanpool thanks to Falls Transport.
Planning all done for new facility at Lima Park and ground broken for where our September 3rd Bull Sale will be held. Australia Day feast and its onto Feb. with a busy year ahead.👍

A couple of days with lots of contrasts! Sadly, our friend Caity had her Alexandra farm burnt out😓 We picked up two loads of Caity's cows, pregnant with our embryos to calve down at Moorunga.
The drive over Black Spur was a stark contrast to the burnt out country, all in a 3 hour trip!
Our thoughts are with all those affected by this disaster🥺

Mocky, always the Gentleman even when being taken out of cows for 25.
Lizzie checking the level on a new trough and our cottage is once again smothered in Hydrangeas.

Yea Show is our kick back and enjoy show. Duncan, Raelene and the team look after us so well and with great competitors and a strong junior section it is the perfect finish to our year.
🥇Moorunga Dream V14 won her class in the Heifer Challenge and then her class in the Angus section.
🏆Interbreed Champion Pair of heifers with V26
🏆Moorunga Janet U11 and calf Warlock W42 won the Champion Angus female and went on to be,
🏆 Interbreed Female for 25
🏆 Moorunga Pacific V29 was Champion Angus Bull and went through to being the,
🏆Interbreed Supreme Bull for Yea Show 25 and teamed up with Moorunga V23 to place 2nd in the Interbreed Pair of bulls.
🏆Moorunga was also awarded the Interbreed Breeders Group
Thank you to Alexie for making the trip up to lend a hand and James and Emily for working the weekend with us. Hope everyone had a safe trip home. Cheers till next time.🍻

Some belated memories from Melbourne Royal. Thanks to Branded Ag for some great photos. It was great to see Grylls Cattle Co doing so well with progeny of Moorunga Raindance U25 and Jones Farms going well with progeny of Moorunga Nikki T090.
Thanks to Alexie and Daniel for all your hard work. Really happy with our small team of 5 all getting ribbons.
Glenn had some time out judging the Limousin breed which was very strong and stood up well in the Interbreed.
We took a few to Benalla Show and came away with the
🏅Supreme exhibit for Moorunga Janet U011
🏅Champion bull for Moorunga Pacific V029
We have made a bunch of silage. Thanks Pat Morrissey.
AI'ed 200 heifers. Thanks Nationwide.
Brought home ET calves from raising at Arden Angus. Thanks Kate and Murk they look amazing.
Weaning and AI to get through then our final show for 25 at Yea.👍

Loved the 16mm of rain at the new property at Swanpool.
May have dampened the excitement a little of Inducting over 200 heifers from Texas Angus.
These will be the start of something special for the commercial herd at Lima Park.
Thanks to Falls Livestock Transport for bringing them down in perfect shape and to Texas for letting us work with these fantastic bloodlines.
