Today was a big day. In March 2021 we visited Stillsmiths Tasmania to talk about buying a still. A couple of lockdowns, engineering consultants, 15 drawing alterations, 234 real estate inspections, 7 months of planning permission waiting, 6 weeks of excise license waiting, 8 weeks of liquor license waiting, boilers, chillers, distilling certificates, gas installations, more than a few late nights, 1,228 days later and:

Delivery day for the still. She’s still unnamed, but is by far our favourite addition to the team!

There’s no place like home. May 2023, we finally found our happy place, with Ember joining Jetty Road Brewery, Bass & Flinders Distillery, TWØBAYS Brewing Co, Mr Little Cider and Jimmy Rum in the Dromana Industrial Estate.
