🐏 Welcome to Alora Prestige Studs, Roseville “Goose” 240093! 🐏

We are very excited to welcome our newest addition to the Corriedale flock — Roseville “Goose” 240093.

We were fortunate enough to secure Goose recently, and we’re thrilled to have him joining us as a new breeding sire for the upcoming breeding season.

Goose brings some impressive figures to the flock, and we are looking forward to utilising him to boost growth and production traits while continuing to improve wool quality within our Corriedale breeding program.

His figures include: 📈 YFD: -5.59
🐑 YCFW: 2.49
🧶 Fibre Diameter: 24.9 µm
📏 Fibre Diameter SD: 4.2
🏆 Merit Wool Index: 135.32

We’re particularly excited to see what Goose can contribute when joined with our Alora & Billigaboo Corriedale ewes, and we look forward to watching his progeny develop over the coming seasons.

Meet our little miracle. ♥️

Yesterday, her mum went into labour around lunchtime, but for reasons we'll never know, she just wasn't progressing.

By 6:00 pm, we were rushing into an emergency caesarean. 🥵

Two beautiful ewe lambs were delivered. Sadly, one little girl had severe fluid on her lungs and, despite every effort, she couldn't be saved.

But this precious girl fought from the very beginning... and she made it. ♥️♥️♥️

She's our little miracle, and we're so incredibly grateful to have her here.

Sometimes farming brings heartbreak, but moments like these remind us why we never give up.
