Hi, Camillle here, owner, founder and head brewer at Alewife. I thought it was time I reintroduced myself!

When I’m not crafting our small batch booch at our brewery HQ in Dunsborough, you’ll find me:

🧑‍🍳 making recipes for new veggies I get from seasonal organic veg boxes and putting a wholefoods spin on recipes
🥒 fermenting and pickling everything to add with every dish I make
🌊always at the beach! (even in winter)
🍷 at w**eries tasting local w**e and food
🏋️‍♀️ at the gym, the bathhouse (sauna/ice bath)
🎵 enjoying live music, and any chance to see favourite bands
🧺at markets and fashion boutiques!

✔️ I travelled the world working on boats
✔️My favourite pets growing up were a blue tongue lizard and a rat called princess 👸

Mother Nature got us good last week. After three days without power we’re back on track and brewing up a storm once again.

Quedjinup means place of women to the Wadandi people of our area. It’s also the birthplace of Alewife and where we brew our special elixir.

It's no coincidence.

Historically, alewives were women who brewed ale for commercial sale, and our microbrewery in Dunsborough follows this age old tradition with women at the helm of the Alewife brewing process.

Our spectacular pocket of the south west is also home to many beautiful businesses that we are proud to have as stockists of our gut-enriching, small batch, elixir-inducing kombucha.
