Celebrating Success at the Melbourne Royal Australian Food Awards 🥇🥇🥇

We are proud to announce that Stockyard has achieved outstanding results at the Melbourne Royal Australian Food Awards, securing three Gold Medals for the second year running.
Stockyard Gold was awarded Gold in the Branded Beef Class, with judges describing it as "tender, juicy and with a great aftertaste."

Stockyard Kiwami and Stockyard Black both achieved Gold in the Branded Wagyu Class, with Stockyard Kiwami recognised for its "incredible tenderness and exceptional flavour" and Stockyard Black praised for its "excellent tenderness that melts in the mouth" and "outstanding" flavour.

With 1,127 entries from 260 producers across Australia, showcasing the very best food products from across the country, this recognition is particularly meaningful.

We are incredibly proud of the results achieved over the past few weeks in branded beef competitions. As a second set of three Gold Medals in as many weeks, these accolades provide valuable recognition from industry professionals and reflect the quality, consistency and dedication of the entire Stockyard team.

Three gold medals. Three exceptional brands. One outstanding result for Stockyard at the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW Sydney Royal Fine Food Show 🥇 🥇 🥇

Stockyard was recognised with a trifecta of gold medals in the Branded Beef Competition, highlighting the quality and consistency across our Angus and Wagyu programs.

Stockyard Gold lived up to its name, taking gold in Class 4 Grain-Fed Beef with its exceptional Angus beef. In Class 5 Open Beef, Stockyard Black secured gold while achieving the highest score in the category for a second consecutive year, delivering the premium quality and consistency it's renowned for. Completing the trifecta, Stockyard Kiwami, our MB9+ ultimate indulgence also earned gold.

These outstanding results reflect the commitment of our team and the pursuit of excellence that drives everything we do. Built on a 68-year heritage, these achievements are a testament to the dedication across our supply chain to producing world-class beef that continues to set the benchmark for excellence and eating experience.

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming a group of students from the University of New England, AU to Stockyard's Kerwee Feedlot as part of their Feedlot Management study unit.

The visit gave students valuable insight into feedlot operations, helping bridge the gap between theory and practice while highlighting the diverse career opportunities available within the lot-feeding industry.

Having hosted a number of UNE groups at Kerwee over the years, we're proud to support agricultural education and share our knowledge with the next generation of industry professionals.

We are looking for a Feeding and Milling Hand to join our award-winning lot-feeding team at Kerwee Feedlot.

You’ll be part of a close-knit, high-performing Feed Mill Team, loading, mixing and delivering rations to the 20,000 cattle in our care, while helping maintain the equipment and standards that support our animal care every day.

We’re looking for someone who is practical, safety-focused and not afraid to get stuck in. You’ll need a current driver’s licence, a willingness to learn, good attention to detail and respect for our animals, environment, people and equipment.

We are looking for a motivated and hardworking Farm Hand to join our team at Glen Alpine Station, Werris Creek NSW, supporting the day-to-day operations of our pastoral farming program.

Glen Alpine Station is a premium 3044ha property and is home to part of Stockyard’s Wagyu breeding herd and a key operational component of our multi award winning, grain-fed beef business.

This role will support livestock operations, property maintenance and general farm activities, including livestock handling, mustering, fencing, water infrastructure repairs, machinery operation and animal welfare monitoring.

Onsite farm accommodation is available as part of the role.
