🍺 Brewing Process Part 3: Lautering

This is where patience pays off.

The wort is separated from the spent grain through a natural filtration process, using the grain bed itself to create a clearer liquid. We then sparge with hot water to extract as much flavour and fermentable sugar as possible before sending the wort to the kettle.

Meet the mash 🍺🔥

Head Brewer Chad takes us to the mash tun — where milled malt grist meets hot water and the magic really begins. Natural enzymes get to work breaking down starches into fermentable sugars… creating the flavour, colour and body of the beer before fermentation even starts 👀⚡️
