We had a successful and enjoyable day yesterday at wauchope show. There were 4 exhibitors with 8 or the 9 breeds entered. Only Nigerian dwarfs were not present.
Our Cora (Aust brown doe) won best second and subsequent lactation, reserve best udder, senior champion doe, best of breed and best exhibit. Jackie (lamancha doe) won best udder first lactation and supreme udder overall, and reserve senior champion doe and best of breed. Miss adventure (saanen doe kid) won champion kid all breeds and telitha (aust brown doe kid) won reserve champion doe kid. Tess (toggenburg milker) was best of breed. We entered 4 milkers and 10 doe kids. All received at least one ribbon. Thanks to Liz Ruis for judging and Nea Hosking for organizing the goat section and stewarding.
