Wow what a year.

After a long dry time over late last year.
Deferring breeding programs to wait for a break in the season

Busy getting cows ready for ET.
working hard to improve our genetics with great new sires, and looking forward to a great season.
Cows were looking great, calves ready to wean, beautiful heifers.

Then Mother Nature turned on us, an extreme weather event and delivered 1 flood bigger than ever in our area and then another flood.

We were very fortunate that a friend offered agistment for a short term. But now due to the extended wet our property is still not able to hold cattle.

So the search is on to find agistment in an area that is not flood affected. This is at the same that there are a lot of other farmers are looking for the same.

Agriculture can be a tough job.

If anyone knows of agistment available please get in touch. We will consider paddocks up on the tableland of northern NSW or flood free area on the coast.

Trying to avoid the hard choice of a yard sale to heavily reduce numbers.
