On our own little grove of paradise we grow Rambutans (red and hairy), Cannonball Breadfruit and Purple Star Apples.

What a week!
It’s been a whirlwind of picking, packing, and selling as many rambutans as we can. I decided to try something new and put together a little video showing what happens once the fruit comes into the shed—hope you enjoy a behind-the-scenes look!

Not a lot of rambutans this season, but enough to take the time and energy of protecting them from our fury & feathered nemesis 🦇🦜🕊

Most farming tasks test marriages... but this job is high on the list
Farming: where love and patience are tested, but mostly patience. 🤣

We went from being drenched in sweat to being drenched by mother nature. And of course, she threw in a few dramatic bangs to really crank up the stress 🌬⛈️⚡️

We are slowly upgrading all our irrigation, as it wasn't cared for and had been buried under soil and roots have grown over it. Hours of digging it up has been frustratingly slow.

Jobs are always easier and more fun when a machine gets involved! 🦾
