Some customers become part of The Drops story without even realising it 💛

This is Sarah. One of our OG little customers from the Freo Market days.

Back when we were still frying coxinhas in the middle of the market chaos… she was already obsessed with our Chicken Drops 😄
And somehow, through every chapter, she kept following us.

This week, she made her mum drive more than 20 minutes just to celebrate her birthday here with her favourite coxinhas ✨
And honestly… moments like this hit us differently.

Because The Drops was never just about food. It was always about people, connection, community… and watching families make us part of their memories.

Every detail, every line, every tiny touch of personality… all done by hand, with so much care and talent.

Our café keeps slowly becoming more us because of people like this 💛

You might know us for our coxinhas… but at The Drops & Co, we also care about what happens behind the scenes.

The oil we use at the café is collected by BioWorks UCO and transformed into biodiesel right here in WA ♻️

So next time you stop by for a coffee or a few coxinhas… feel free to bring your used cooking oil with you too — we’ll make sure it gets a second life.

A small action. Less waste. More community. And a reminder that little things really do add up ✨

Mother’s Day is almost here 💛

And if you know us… you know we’ve always believed that food tastes better when shared.

So this year, we created something made for slowing down a little. For sitting around the table. For stealing bites from each other’s plates. For long coffees, small conversations, and those moments that somehow become the ones we remember most.

Our Mother’s Day Special Board brings together a few of our favourite things: good coffee, comforting food, sweet little treats, and a mix of flavours made to share.

Most people know us for our coxinhas… but there’s another thing that has always been part of who we are: books.

So we decided to create a little free library here at The Drops & Co. A small space where stories can keep travelling from one person to another.

You can bring a book and swap it for a different one to take home. And if you don’t have a book, that’s okay too. A small gold coin donation helps us keep adding more books to the shelf 💛

We also love books in different languages… because mixing cultures, stories and people has always been part of us.

So next time you stop by for a coffee or some coxinhas… feel free to take a book, leave a book, or simply be part of it ✨
