Marron are a pretty amazing creature, endemic to the south-west of WA. Did you know they’re the third largest freshwater crayfish in the world?

The open season begins in January for licenced fishing in approved waterways, but we’re lucky to have private dams & our own producers licence to be able to year round should we choose.

They’re in their breeding period at the moment so it’s not the best time to be catching- so bring on summer!
