The Kagome processing facility is one of the most up-to-date and automated factories of its kind, allowing for optimum efficiency and the ability to place ourselves as a globally competitive

innovator. Kagome employs more than 70 full time team members, with even more joning us during the busy harvest season at the beginning of the year. The team is proud to be a leading example of cutting-edge farming techniques, advanced land management practices and efficient factory processing. Our tomatoes are grown locally and tended to by our growers, agronomists and farm operations team members, who understand the importance of nurturing our product from paddock to plate.

Another tomato season wrapped up, and what a journey it’s been. 🍅🙌

Last week, teams from across Kagome Australia came together for our End of Season Review, reflecting on everything from harvest through to production, customer deliveries, innovation projects and the countless moving parts that make each season a success.

It was a great opportunity to celebrate achievements, recognise the incredible efforts of our people, share key learnings and align on opportunities for the future.

Proudly Australian grown and made, our success starts with our growers and continues through every stage of the process, from paddock to processing, and from quality and logistics to sales and customer service. Every team plays a role in delivering the high-quality products our customers rely on.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed throughout the season. We're proud of what we've achieved together and excited for what's ahead.

Tomato season may be over, but there's no slowing down around here... onto carrot season! 🥕🙌

Closing the loop on this year’s Pick-a-Box events 🍅

Over the past few weeks, our team has had the privilege of visiting local health services to formally present the funds raised and connect with the people behind these vital community services.

Kagome CEO Brad Free visited Echuca Regional Health on behalf of Kagome Australia to present a cheque for $7,678, raised through our Rochester Pick-a-Box Day and matched by Kagome. The funds will support the purchase of new equipment to enhance care across the region.

In Deniliquin, our team members Chris Taylor (GM Field Operations) and Darcy Kirchhofer (NSW Regional Manager) presented a cheque for $5,248 to Deniliquin Health Service, raised through our Pick-a-Box Deniliquin event with strong local community participation. The funds will help improve patient care and comfort, including enhancements to palliative care spaces for patients and their families. The event also received front page recognition in the Deniliquin Pastoral Times ( https://www.denipt.com.au/news/fruitful-day-for-deniliquin-hospital/?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Facebook =1774740944 ), reflecting the strong community support behind it.

These visits are always a reminder of the impact local fundraising can have, and the importance of supporting the services that care for our communities every day.

As Brad shared, “Pick-a-Box Day is an important way for us to give back to the region that supports our operation and our people.”

Carrots are one of the most versatile ingredients in food manufacturing. 🥕

At Kagome Australia, we grow and process carrots into a range of functional ingredients designed to support manufacturers across beverages, bakery, sauces, prepared foods and more.

Each product delivers natural colour, sweetness or functionality depending on the application.

Our carrot ingredient range includes:

🥕Carrot Concentrate – A naturally sweet ingredient that also provides vibrant colour, ideal for juices, bakery products, sauces and clean label formulations.
🥕Carrot Puree – Smooth and consistent with natural flavour, perfect for soups, sauces, baby food and ready meals.
🥕Carrot Pulp (Pomace) – A fibre rich ingredient that adds body and texture while helping improve formulation efficiency.
🥕NinjinFibre® (Carrot Fibre) – A natural, clean label functional fibre that can be used across a wide range of applications providing both functional & nutritional benefits.

All produced from Australian grown carrots and processed at our Echuca facility, delivering the traceability, consistency and local supply that manufacturers rely on.

Tomato season is one of the most exciting times of year at Kagome Australia.

Every load of tomatoes arriving at our Echuca facility represents months of dedication in the field. From the moment fruit crosses the weighbridge, our quality assurance processes begin, ensuring every stage of production meets the standards our customers rely on.

Our vertically integrated model allows tomatoes to move from field to processing in as little as 8–12 hours, supported by real time logistics coordination and full traceability from farm to factory.

From receiving and sorting through to automated packing, our teams work together to maintain consistency, traceability, and product integrity across every batch.

This commitment to quality is at the heart of everything we do and reflects the values that guide Kagome Australia every day.
