Just 2 more baskets to go until vintage is over. It has been a great vintage great figures beautiful colour and long slow ferments. The wine will now settle in tanks for 3 - 4 weeks before being transferred to barrel. So look forward to working on these wines over the next year or two. Happy Easter everyone and enjoy your break

We finished picking last Friday in style with Supper Trouper Angie and l picking the Mourvèdre. All our fruit is in the winery and l now can just focus on wine making. The fruit and the figures are great as well as the colour so who knows maybe another Grangehill.
I have worked hard on the ferments and everything is running clean. Here’s to a great 2006 vintage.

Things are getting serious and the jag is out of the winery. We picked the Rose’ with a few good friends last Tuesday.
Angie and I picked the Front Shiraz yesterday and the pickers are coming tomorrow,Monday and Wednesday.
The figures and the fruit is looking great.
