The horses may not be there but we will! We’ll be keeping everyone well fed at the Apsley Races this Sunday, catering from both the inside kitchen and the Winter Woolies Marquee.

On the menu:
Minestrone or chicken & corn soup - $10
Curry & rice (butter chicken, rogan josh or veg korma) - $15
Roast rolls (roast lamb & gravy or pulled pork & slaw) - $15
Lunchbox (sandwich, hot savoury & slice) - $15
Afternoon tea box with tea & coffee – $10
Pavlova with berries & cream – $10

The Apsley Races are always a cosy winter race meet and one of our favourite events on the calendar. We can't wait to see everyone trackside!

You may have noticed a few new food photos popping up on our page last night. They might seem a little random, but rest assured we’ve added them into albums so you can easily browse what our menu items actually look like when served at events.

These aren’t styled photoshoots or AI generated images - they’re real meals, photographed at real events we’ve catered.

We’re also working behind the scenes to simplify our event booking process, making it easier and more streamlined for both new and returning clients.

Thank you for your continued support. We genuinely love what we do, and we’re grateful to be part of so many special events, celebrations, and community gatherings. 💚

What a month May has been!

We’ve had a jam packed few weeks catering for a variety of events, including council functions, community events, milestone birthdays, golf days, ladies’ days, and plenty of football club balls. It’s been wonderful to be part of so many special occasions across our community.

Alongside all of that, we’ve continued to keep busy with our nightly meals, fresh shop salads, ready made meals, school lunch orders, and everything in between.

Now that the colder weather has well and truly arrived, don’t forget that we offer bulk family meals to help make those dark winter evenings a little easier. From lasagna and curries to pasta dishes and more, we’ve got plenty of options ready to take the stress out of dinner time.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported Kings Katering throughout May. We appreciate every order and look forward to another busy month ahead!

Oops… what an end to April - so big we completely forgot our monthly recap! 🫣

This month wrapped up our 2025/2026 wedding season and wow… what a way to finish! We went out with a bang, and as always, we’re so grateful to all of our amazing couples who trusted us to be part of their special days.

Alongside weddings, we kept busy with engagement parties, big family celebrations (including one of our own family reunions!), plus a mix of community events and all the usual bits in between. Safe to say it was another full on month for the Kings Krew!

And that’s a wrap on our 2025/2026 wedding season.

What a ride… 18 weddings across Western Victoria, Geelong and the Limestone Coast, feeding 1,969 legends along the way. Safe to say it’s been a big one for the Kings Krew.

From the prep behind the scenes to watching your day unfold, we’ve loved being part of so many special moments.

Huge thank you to all our couples for having us along for the ride, and to our crew who just keep showing up and getting it done (even on those massive days 😅).

And if you think we’re slowing down… not a chance! Next season is already looking even bigger.

We’ve only got a couple of dates left in September and November, plus a bit of space early next year. If you’re planning your day, jump in quick.

Can’t wait to do it all again 💚

All roads led to Nhill on Saturday, with a big 3 event day on the cards! To make things even more interesting, our crew were spread between Edenhope and Natimuk (Go Saints!) before we even got started. 🫣

With a wedding, an engagement party, and a birthday luncheon, our team knew exactly what to do to make each event shine. Everything ran smoothly, the food came out hot and fresh, and best of all… our crew were tucked up in bed at a pretty reasonable hour!

Just another day doing what we love, and doing it well. 😜
