⭐ Eidsvold Simmental and Fleckvieh Sale ⭐

As the dust settles on our third annual Eidsvold Simmental and Fleckvieh Sale, we are very grateful to all buyers, underbidders, agents and vendors in the sale.

A big thankyou goes to Eidsvold Livestock and Property for all the work behind the scenes with marketing and preparing the yards for our use.

We are very thankful to be involved in a sale with a great group of vendors who always work together to get everything done and create a very friendly environment.

A huge thank you to our buyers who helped us attain equal second top price of the sale with Lot 2 Three Moon Jack Horner; that was purchased for $16,000 by Paul Hastings and family.

Big thank you to our new buyers as well as our repeat buyers: Richard and Denise Edgar, Craig Hair, Doug Miles and Roseanne Reithmuller.

Also, thank you to the Preston family for purchasing Lot 25 Three Moon Colonel for $15,000, and for Ryan's help with the bulls before and during the sale.

We are very pleased to have sold all 15 of our bulls to achieve a solid average of $8467.

Our final three bulls through the ring!

Lot 35 will be the last bull sired by Red Rooster in this year's draft. He's polled with a strong head and topline with a balanced body. This young sire has tremendous length, is very smooth muscled and has an impeccable temperament.

Lot 36 is another of our 20-month-old bulls on offer, who is showing heaps of potential at his age. He has got much more growing to do but you can already see what a sire he is turning into. A grandson of Callendale Jasper that has inherited his super sleek coat and smooth tail set.

Lot 37 is out of one of our stud Droughtmaster cows and sired by Karragarra Road Runner (our other stud Fleckvieh sire). This bull perfectly showcases the progeny you can get by utilising Simmental or Fleckvieh bulls over your Bos Indicus females. He is as thick as a brick, but as smooth as they come.

Lot 32 is a stylish traditional young sire with plenty to offer. He stands on good bone and has more than adequate muscling for his age. The best is yet to come for this bull!

Lot 33 is super eye-catching with his sleek, colourful coat and masculine polled head. He's deep, long and soft. Full of potential to grow into an impressive bull.

LOT 30 is a really well-balanced bull from his smooth shoulders to his back end. He is growing out into an impressive young sire with an impeccable temperament.

LOT 31 is a deep dark red bull with a strong dehorned head and a very smooth topline. An early maturing young bull that will go well over Bos Indicus females to give his progeny some extra grunt.

More and more red bulls sired by Karragarra Red Rooster!

Lot 28 certainly packs a punch. An early maturing bull with heaps of width and muscling carried on a strong and long topline. He's out of a productive Lizzy Valley female that's had three calves in three years.

Lot 29 is a really impressive young bull. At only 20 months of age, he's showing so much sire appeal, style and functionality. He has heaps of bone and is very balanced from front to back with a smooth muscle pattern.

Introducing, Lots 25, 26 and 27! A trio of stylish dark reds.

Lot 25 is a carbon copy of his sire, with even more length and that same strong head, full of sire appeal. He's super thick from behind while still having a very smooth muscle pattern. Colonel has been a standout from birth, and was part of our show team this year, achieving Senior Champion Bull at Eidsvold show.

Lot 26 is a later maturing young bull, with heaps of leg, while maintaining good depth from front to flank. He is out of a productive dam that we have had in our breeder herd for seven years, providing us with 6 calves to date.

Lot 27 is a real standout, with natural thickness throughout, and plenty of growth for age. He's got a beautiful smooth and sleek coat and a tidy tail set. Out of a young cow that's given us three calves in three years.

Introducing Lot 3 and 4 for the third annual Eidsvold Simmental and Fleckvieh Sale. Two sires with impeccable temperaments and all of the potential to make quality stud sires.

Lot 3 is a powerful bull that we think a lot of, having retained semen for in-herd use only. He's long, deep, soft and strong... honestly can't find a fault in him. We believe he embodies all of the great attributes of his sire, Karragarra Red Rooster (Woonallee Los Angeles) while also having a very clean tropically suited coat.

Lot 4 is as eye-catching as they come! With a strong polled head, paired with natural thickness that's hard to come by. He is also sired by Red Rooster, and is a descendant of the Tennysonvale Esmeralda dam line, that was a proven matron in the Tennysonvale herd.

Introducing Lot 1 and 2 for the Third Annual Eidsvold Simmental and Fleckvieh Sale!

Two powerful tan sires, (by Karragarra Red Rooster) that we are proud to open the sale with.

LOT 1 is out of a Clay Gully cow, that has produced a calf every year including Lot 2 in last year's sale that sold for $9000. This bull is stylish, with a strong head, heaps of growth and a very sleek coat. A later maturing sire that has an impeccable temperament, as we took him to a few local shows this year.

LOT 2 is definitely one of our picks, as he oozes sire appeal with great natural thickness, smooth muscle pattern and plenty of growth for age. He comes from a strong maternal line, with his granddam producing four stud females in our herd and many of her descendants have been shown.

These are all out of cows we purchased last year from Rivulet Fleckvieh stud in NSW, and sired by Campfire Tornado (P) who is by Callendale Jasper (P). We bought Tornado in 2024 and are loving the coat type and impeccable temperament he is passing on to his progeny.
