RESULTS:
πŸ₯‡ Finished in 5:18, and had the pleasure of opening this challenge for Mikey, the owner of Burgerchino’s β€” an absolute legend.

This one looked incredible before I even started, and somehow tasted even better. Easily one of the tastiest all-round challenges I’ve done in Adelaide.

I started with the ribs, which were packed with flavour and cooked perfectly. Straight into the mac n cheese balls next β€” crispy outside, soft and rich inside, and they didn’t last long.

From there it was the chips, cooked perfectly and easy to get through before moving into the brisket burger, which was spot on.

Then the pulled pork burger with pineapple was juicy, sweet, and packed with flavour, before finishing with the coleslaw, which was a nice fresh reset at the end of a heavy platter.

What’s even better is this can actually be ordered off the menu as a sharing platter for two hungry appetites β€” generous portions with two burgers, two drinks, and plenty to go around.

Clean finish. Got it done in just over five minutes.

Stopped into Burgerchino to try the Burger of the Week and it honestly felt like it was made for me. Stacked, saucy, and seriously tasty β€” double beef with smashed onions, double bacon, melty cheese, house-made chipotle BBQ, lettuce and tomato. Absolute handful of a burger 🀀

RESULTS:
πŸ₯‡ Finished in 28:01, first ever attempt and first to finish The Big Momma Challenge. I had the pleasure of opening this challenge for Johnny Kapiris. This guy is a legend so it was an honour to be the first in and officially kick this one off.

Started with the chips straight away knowing they’d cool down fast β€” and cold chips in a challenge are never your friend. From there I moved into the beef parmigianas, generous portions, seriously tasty too.

The chicken parmigiana was the real turning point β€” massive portion and definitely slowed the rhythm down a bit. Ribs were next and absolutely delicious, but very time-consuming getting the meat off the bone once they started to cool.

From there I pushed into the garlic bread to keep things moving, then finished it off with the Greek salad to clean everything up. Not the easiest challenge with the mix of hot food turning cold and time pressure, but I got the job done πŸ’ͺ🏼

πŸ₯‡ Finished in 13:57, setting the first official time on the board.

This one hit different… not just a challenge, but a proper feed off the menu that I had the privilege of turning into a challenge.

The 3kg Wagyu shank was unreal β€” rich, tender, and packed with flavour. Honestly, it made a monster like this feel way easier than it should’ve been. The veggies were cooked perfectly, but the creamy mash had cooled by the time I got to it, making it thick, heavy and slower to get through than I expected.

Thursday night and the place was absolutely packed… says everything you need to know. Quality food, quality drinks, and an unreal atmosphere. The crowd got right behind me and the staff were legends from the start.

No real strategy going in β€” just started strong with Tommy Two Buns charcoal-grilled grass-fed beef πŸ”₯

Then Mr Burger next, followed by Krispy's smashed patties to finish it off πŸ”

Crossed the line in 2:59 to take the win πŸ†πŸ’ͺ I could’ve gone quicker, but I eased off slightly just to enjoy the burgers on the way through.

Shoutout to Welcome to Brunswick for another unreal event, and Mr Burger, Krispys and Tommy Two Buns for the burgers πŸ”₯

One competitor showed serious grit finishing 5 burgers in 21:41… proper effort, just not enough on the day πŸ˜€πŸ”

πŸ₯‡ Finished in 10:53, improving on my previous attempt. I changed my strategy, starting with the chips first β€” they were softer and easier to mash into potato balls, which saved a lot of time. By the time I got to the fish, it was still piping hot, making it slightly harder to get down, but I didn’t let it cool like last time. I was aiming for under 10 minutes, and I think I could’ve hit it if that fish wasn’t so hot. Either way, my 10:53 is secure for second place, and the first-place record is still untouchable.

The lovely staff member Alyssa looked after me during the challenge β€” she was brilliant and made it even more enjoyable. Just like I said in my last post, the fish is cooked fresh in front of you, everything served straight away, and the whole setup is super organized. Definitely not your average fish & chip shop, and a must if you’re ever in the area and want to experience another level of fresh cooked fish and chips πŸ˜‹

πŸ₯‡ Finished in 5:46, setting the new record! The previous best was 7:13, which makes this one even sweeter. It got a little saucy thanks to the loaded pulled-pork fries, but every bite was absolutely delicious β€” messy, but completely worth it.

Even better was tackling this challenge alongside Mimi Zhang , who finished strong in 11:42. We had a great crowd watching on in amazement, which made the whole experience even more fun πŸ˜„
